Shown is a selection of pieces from the series 'Love in Lyrics'. The growing series is made up of over 30 individual cross-stitch samplers, which use lyrics from popular music to narrate the course of a relationship.
The series was shown at MATERIAL, an exhibition of contemporary textiles, which Helen co-curated at The Bear Steps Gallery, Shrewsbury in June 2011. It was also shown in an earlier form as part of 'Art vs. Artist' at the Hive Gallery, Shrewsbury, in August 2009.
